PITCH Business Terms

Draft for professional legal review. This text is not final legal advice and may change before PITCH launches paid services in production.

These terms apply to every company using PITCH SERVICES, PITCH PROF or PITCH BUSINESS. They form an agreement between your company and PITCH Technology Limited, a company operating from Ireland.

1. What PITCH provides

PITCH Technology Limited provides an online professional platform and digital tools: company profiles, search, PITCH Pulse, messaging, video calls and, depending on your package, hiring tools, the Business Network and related features.

Features available to your company depend on the package you choose and on completing the verification that package requires.

2. PITCH is not the employer

PITCH is not the employer of any candidate and does not become a party to an employment, contractor or service relationship merely because people or companies connect through PITCH.

Any agreement you make with a candidate, supplier, partner or other company is between you and that party.

3. Your responsibilities as a business

Where they apply to your own hiring and business activity, your company remains responsible for: hiring decisions and candidate assessment; right-to-work checks; checking qualifications, certifications and licences; employment contracts, payroll and employer taxes; compliance with employment law and equality law; keeping required records and retaining documents for the required period; and any industry licences or regulatory obligations.

You must give accurate company information, use PITCH lawfully and treat candidates and other users fairly and respectfully.

4. What PITCH remains responsible for

PITCH remains responsible for the obligations that apply to PITCH itself, including data protection under the GDPR and Irish law, the security of the platform, operating the services described in your package and handling reports of misuse.

PITCH checks the details a company provides during verification. Verification is not an official registry certification.

5. Candidate data

Candidate information you access through PITCH may only be used for genuine recruitment or business purposes connected to PITCH. You must not copy it into other databases, sell it or use it for unrelated marketing.

When you process candidate personal data outside PITCH, your company is responsible for that processing.

6. Packages, payment and cancellation

Package prices, limits and billing periods are shown on the package page before you pay. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Downgrading or cancelling locks features but does not delete your existing data.

7. Acceptable use

You must not post misleading jobs or offers, impersonate others, use PITCH for recruitment fees charged to candidates, harass users or attempt to bypass package or verification controls. PITCH may suspend accounts that break these rules.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish or EU law. Other limits of liability will be set out in the final reviewed version of these terms.

9. Changes and governing law

If these terms change materially, PITCH will ask you to accept the new version before continuing. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
